Yu Shi is a Chinese actor and musician of Mongolian origin (his Mongolian name is Ashan). He graduated from Liaoning University of Engineering and Technology. He was a national second-level athlete in basketball during his student years.

In 2014, he participated in the talent show "The Voice of China" (Season 2) and then became a trainee under SM Entertainment for a short while.

In 2023, Yu Shi made his official debut as an actor in the movie "Creation of the Gods Ⅰ: Kingdom of Storms".
