Okura Takato is an actor and member of dance and vocal group Genin wa Jibun ni Aru..

Takato used to do swimming from kindergarten until 6th grade in elementary school, but it did not work out due to his fear of the deep sea caused by the movie JAWS. He later thought about stopping his swimming activities and entering basketball club at junior high school.

He was approached by STARDUST scouting staff at a local festival in 2015, At first, he was scared and started calling his mother. The staff later explained that she came from an entertainment company. Takato hesitated to accept the offer because he had no interest in entertainment, but then decided to give it a try after discussing it with his mother. He later signed with STARDUST Promotion in 2015.

On April 15, 2017, he was selected to be a part of STAR BOYS project unit, Summer Team (夏チーム). In September 2017, STAR BOYS project ended and joined a new project called BATTLE BOYS.

On August 4, 2018, he was selected as BATTLE BOYS TOKYO 2nd STAGE member and later as BATTLE STREET member in October of the same year. He was selected as BATTLE BOYS TOKYO 3rd STAGE member on February 3, 2019.

On July 7, 2019, Takato officially debuted with BATTLE STREET which later changed name to Genin wa Jibun ni Aru..
