Xue Zhiqian, also known as Joker Xue, is a Chinese singer-songwriter, film and television actor, and music producer born in Shanghai. He graduated from the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland.

In 2005, he officially debuted in 2005 after participating in the music talent show "My Style and My Show" (我型我秀). In 2006, he released his first solo album "Xue Zhi Qian" (薛之谦), gaining widespread recognition for his song "Serious Snow" (认真的雪). In 2008, he held his first solo concert in Shanghai. In 2010, he made his film debut in "The University Days of a Dog" (一只狗的大学时光). However, afterwards, due to poor promotion by his agency, he fell into a career slump.
