He made his debut in April 2019 (under the stage name Avin) as ENOi's sub-vocalist with their first single, "Bloom". The group struggled to promote, and the members had different ideas of what type of music they should be releasing. So, in January 2021, Kithewhale Entertainment (키스웨일 엔터테인먼트) announced the group's disbandment. Four members remained with the company, but he decided to leave.
He re-debuted in May 2022 (now using his birth name) as BLANK2Y's vocalist with their first album, "K2Y 1: Confidence". However, the group did not enjoy much commercial success and faced the controversy of member Lee Young Bin's scandal. In June 2023, 5 members requested the termination of his contract with Keystone Entertainment (키스톤 엔터테인먼트), and he requested to go on hiatus from group activities to focus on his acting career. In October of that year, the group silently disbanded.
He is now focused on acting and is represented by Aubemoon Studio (오브문스튜디오). He enlisted for his mandatory military service on April 23, 2024, and was discharged on October 22, 2025.
