Chae Ri Na
- Name: Chae Ri Na
- Native name: 채리나
- Also Known as: Baek Hyeon Ju, Baek Hyeon Joo, Park Hyeon Joo
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Female
- Born: February 3, 1978
- Age: 48
She made her debut in 1995 when she joined ROO'RA as their new rapper with their first full-length album, "There's No Secret". The group had debuted the year before, but she was added to the lineup when original member Shin Jung Hwan enlisted in his mandatory military service. The concept of a co-ed hip-hop and dance-pop vocal group immediately attracted many fans, and they became one of South Korea's most popular musical acts of the 1990s.
However, in 1996, several songs from their third album were accused of plagiarism and faced severe criticism by the media and the public, so they went to Los Angeles on hiatus.
While some ROO'RA members were in the United States, she re-debuted in 1997 as DIVA's leader and vocalist with their first album, "Funky Diva". The group underwent several lineup changes, and she left in 1999 when she decided to rejoin ROO'RA's comeback. However, even after releasing a few more albums later on, their reputation took a hit with the plagiarism incident, and ROO'RA ultimately disbanded in early 2001.
In 2006, she joined best friend Yuri (previously a member of COOL) and created the duo GIRL FRIENDS. They released their first album, "Another Myself", but received mixed reviews. After another album, the duo disbanded.
In 2009, she reunited with ROO'RA for the release of their ninth and final album, "A9ain", after which they officially and definitely disbanded.
She now appears on variety shows.
