In high school, he was active in sports, namely track, and was going to head into college before deciding to make a career in acting. He began with acting on stage in 2013 before making his film debut in 2014's "MARCHING Ashita e".

In March of 2017, his instagram post showcasing his friendship with fellow actors Ayano Go, Suda Masaki, and Narita Ryo went viral. Later that month, he also debuted as a runway model for "Tokyo Girls Collection 2017 Spring/Summer".
