She made her debut in 1995 when she joined COOL for their second album, "Love Is... Waiting". The group had debuted the year before, but 2 members decided to leave after the first album, and she joined Lee Jae Hoon and Kim Sung Soo to complete the trio. The group and their songs were often among the top songs sung in karaoke bars around the country, and they mainly performed dance and ballad music.
In 2002, they received the Golden Disk Award, recording their seventh album as the year's best-selling album. In 2005, they announced their disbandment, but three years later decided to return and released the album "I Want to Love". In 2014, they celebrated their 20th anniversary and began performing in several variety and music shows before definitely disbanding at the end of the year.
She now lives in Los Angeles and has not appeared on South Korean TV since 2019.
