Park Wan Kyu is a South Korean singer and member of BOOHWAL (부활). He graduated from Taekwang High School and later enrolled in the Music program at Seoul Hoseo Art Practical School but did not complete the coursework. Before debuting, he used to sing and work as a DJ at the US military base in Songtan.

He made his debut in July 1997 as the band's vocalist with their fifth album, "Discovery of Fire". The album's lead single, "Lonely Night", has become one of the band's most recognized songs. After not releasing any new material in almost two years, he decided to leave the band in 1998 to perform as a solo artist, and one year later, he released his first solo album, "Thousand Years of Love". The self-titled lead single became one of his most recognized songs.
He then recorded many OSTs for dramas and released three more albums between 2002 and 2006.

In 2019, BOOHWAL leader Kim Tae Won personally asked him to return, and he accepted. He has been part of the band since then and is represented by their own label, Boohwal Entertainment (부활엔터테인먼트).
