She started writing songs at the age of seventeen, performing a variety of dance styles ranging from street dance styles to modern dance styles, including popping, locking, krump, urban, hip-hop, jazz, house, waacking, contemporary, swag in different dance competitions and shows.
In 2020, she placed first in iQiyi's idol survival show "Youth With You Season 2" (青春有你第二季), ultimately debuting as the centre of the girl group THE9.
Prior to the show, she was a member of the girl group Lady Bees (蜜蜂少女队). She made her solo debut and released her first-ever EP, "XIN", on May 20, 2018. The first track of her first full-length album, "Xanadu", was released in December 2021.
