Nam Young Joo is a South Korean singer and actress. She graduated from Howon University with a bachelor's degree in Applied Music.

She made her debut in 2011 with the digital single "The Calling" but was not successful. She then appeared on TV in 2013 as a contestant on the survival reality program “K-Pop Star 3”, finishing in the Top 10. She re-debuted in 2014 with the single "6:09" and later made her acting debut with a role in the stage play version of the drama "Love Playlist". She is currently an independent artist.
