Yue Ming Hui graduated from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and has a Master's Degree from the University of Glasgow in the UK. He studied science and engineering-related department. After graduation, he successfully accepted the high-paying job of IT project development, but after a week, he quit his job as a trainee without his family's knowledge.
In 2016 he began a two-year trainee career. On October 10, 2017, as a trainee of BC221, the group released their first single called "If You Can Feel My Feeling."
