Wang attended Jinan Foreign Language School for high school. In 2016, she took the performing arts exam at various performing arts universities across China. She ranked 12th in the performing arts exam for Beijing Dance Academy's musical theatre department and ultimately decided to enroll there. She graduated from Beijing Dance Academy in May 2020. In June 2018, she started filming for the Chinese drama Growing Pain.
On December 18, 2018, Wang was officially introduced to the public as one of Jaywalk Newjoy's A+ Students. In April 2019, she started filming for the Jaywalk Studio drama production, Storm Eye. From March to July 2020, Wang participated in the Chinese girl group survival show, Chuang 2020, and finished in 3rd place with 147,605,682 votes.
