Hong Ye Ji is a South Korean actress. She graduated from the Department of Theatre and Film at the School of Performing Arts Seoul, a specialized arts high school, and later enrolled in the Department of Theatre at Dongguk University; however, she did not complete the program after exceeding the maximum permitted leave of absence.

She first gained public attention as a participant in the Mnet reality show "Produce 48", where she was noted for her stable vocals and powerful dance skills, before transitioning into acting and pursuing it full-time.

She is represented by Big Friends (빅프렌즈), formerly known as Big Whale Entertainment (빅웨일엔터테인먼트).
