Before debuting, she spent two and half years as a trainee at WM Entertainment. She was even part of the pre-debut group Ggumnamu (WM Girls) / Dream Tree (꿈나무), but she decided to leave the agency without debuting.
After switching companies, she signed with Grandline Group (그랜드라인 그룹, often shortened to GLG) and spent another 3 and half years in training.
She finally made her official debut in January 2022 as H1-KEY's vocalist with their first single album, "Athletic Girl".
