Suzuki Koji was a Japanese writer born in Hamamatsu, Japan. He primarily worked as an essayist and novelist, but also operates a cram school. He prided himself on being a full-time husband and father, with many of his essays focusing on raising children.

Active from 1990 until his death, he came to prominence as an author through his works "Rakuen" and "The Ring", among others.

He died on May 8, 2026, in Tokyo, at the age of 68.
