Im Jae Beom is a South Korean singer and former member of SINAWE (시나위) and ASIANA (아시아나). He dropped out of high school to pursue a career as a singer.

He made his debut in 1986 as SINAWE's vocalist with their first album, "Heavy Metal Sinawe". The band was formed by Shin Dae Chul as the guitarist and adopted a style of rotating the other members. So, after this album, he was replaced by another singer, and he left the band.

In 1989, he formed ASIANA, another heavy metal/rock band and debuted the following year with the album "Out On The Street". However, they disbanded in early 1991. He then appeared as a guest vocalist for other less-known rock bands.

Then, in October 1991, he made his debut as a solo artist with the album "On the Turning Away", gaining fame as an all-round vocalist, crossing genres such as rock and ballads.

On January 4, 2026, he announced his retirement.
