She made her debut in August 2017 as APPLE.B's leader and rapper with their first digital single album, "Gulp Gulp". The group was not successful, and the agency, GH Entertainment (GH엔터테인먼트), decided to disband it in mid-2018.
She remained with the company and re-debuted in May 2019 as 3YE's leader, main vocalist, lead dancer and rapper with their first digital single, "DMT (Do Ma Thang)". However, the group had limited opportunities to promote in South Korea and is more recognized abroad.
In August 2021, 3YE joined a project group with B.I.G. (비아이지) and the newly formed co-ed group, called TRIPLE SEVEN, released the single "Presente".
In November 2024, GH Entertainment announced 3YE's disbandment as the members decided not to renew their contracts. She is currently an independent artist.
