In 2003, Suzie made her debut with the song "Hips." BANANA GIRL was an idea of BigHit Entertainment CEO Bang Si Hyuk and techno musician Ga Jae Bal who wanted a group who could perform electronic and dance songs with a rotating vocalist each time. After a time, she quietly retired from the industry and spent nearly thirteen years without a TV appearance until she was a guest in an episode of "Two Yoo Sugar Man Project" where she explained she was away from TV shows because of her fear of dancing. She has now shifted to jazz music, the vocalist of band AGASINGS. She also appears as a reporter on KBS's "Good Morning Live".
