JOOSUC is a South Korean hip-hop musician. He graduated from Ogeum High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Humanities from Konkuk University.

He made his debut in 2000 with the EP "Only the Strong Survive" but from the late 1990s to the early 2000s, he was a rapper and producer who was called the King of Korean underground hip-hop. At the beginning of his career, he used several stage names such as MC Warren or manfromist but then settled on variations of his name.

In 2001, he released his 1st full-length album "Beatz 4 da Streetz" with "Lastman Standing" as the title track but failed to gain popularity because the album had a lot of things that were not approved by TV censors and that affected his ability to promote on network shows. Afterwards, his next 4 albums were different from his first, as he tried to compromise to be allowed on TV and only a few songs became quite popular.

He changed agencies in 2015 and since then, he has released several singles and mini-albums but has now focused on producing and occasionally appearing on variety shows. He is currently an independent artist under Fine Records, the label he created.
