Cha Jun Hwan
- Name: Cha Jun Hwan
- Native name: 차준환
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Male
- Born: October 21, 2001
- Age: 24
He is the 2023 Worlds silver medalist, four-time medalist at the Four Continents Championship (gold in 2022, silver in 2025 and 2026 and bronze in 2024), the 2025 Asian Winter Games champion, the 2018-19 Grand Prix Final bronze medalist, a six-time Grand Prix medalist, the 2025 World University Games bronze medalist, a five-time Challenger Series medalist, as well as a ten-time consecutive South Korean national champion (2017-2026). At the junior level, he is the 2016-17 Junior Grand Prix Final bronze medalist and a two-time Junior Grand Prix gold medalist.
He is the first South Korean man in history to win and to medal at the Four Continents Championships and the Asian Winter Games, as well as the first South Korean man to medal at the World Championships, Grand Prix Final, Grand Prix Series and Junior Grand Prix Final. He is also the first South Korean man to win the Challenger Series and to qualify for the Grand Prix Final. Furthermore, he was not only the youngest man to land a quad jump at a recognized competition but also set a world record for the combined total points as a junior male. In 2025, he also became the first figure skater in South Korea to join a workplace sports team, broadening the sport's foundation and paving the way for his peers and future generations.
He is a three-time Olympian representing South Korea. He competed as the youngest player in the men's singles at the 2018 Winter Olympics, where he qualified for the free skate in 20 years in South Korean men's singles history and placed fifteenth, which was the highest rank as a South Korean man. He then went on to finish in fifth overall at the 2022 Winter Olympics, breaking his own record and the highest rank in the history of male skaters in South Korea. He served as one of the two flag bearers for the Republic of Korea at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics opening ceremony. He finished in 4th place overall in his third Olympic appearance, just 0.98 points off the bronze medal position, and once again broke his own record as the highest rank achieved by a South Korean male skater at the Winter Olympics.
Off the ice, he has expanded his leadership within the sports community, notably joining the South Korean delegation at the IOC Session for the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics bid and serving as a vice chairperson for winter sports on the Athletes' Committee of the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee.
Before becoming an elite athlete, he worked as a child actor and featured in commercials and dramas. As a competitive skater, he has also continuously appeared on a variety of TV shows, ice shows, fashion magazines, public campaigns and advertisements. On April 2, 2026, it was confirmed that he had signed an exclusive contract with Fantagio.
