So Yu Mi is a South Korean singer, dancer, and former member of VNT (브이엔티; also known as V-92) and KISS & CRY (키스&크라이). She graduated from Anyang Arts High School. She is the daughter of veteran trot singer So Myung.

She made her debut in November 2010 as VNT's main dancer, lead vocalist and visual with their first digital single, "Sound". The group failed to get any attention from the media and public, and immediately went on hiatus after their debut. The agency, Media Line Entertainment (미디어라인 엔터테인먼트; formerly known as Midas Entertainment), opted to disband them in mid-2011.

She remained with the company and was supposed to re-debut as a member of VIVA GIRLS, but Medial Line ran into financial problems, so the group never debuted, and she opted to leave the agency.

She then re-debuted in January 2014 as KISS & CRY's vocalist, lead dancer and maknae with their first digital single, "Domino Game". The group was managed by EHO E&F (이호이앤에프), but their debut was seen as a commercial failure. They released a second digital single in May of that year, before the group disbanded in September, only 8 months after debuting.

She later decided to switch to trot music and made her solo debut in April 2015 with the digital single "Shake Me Up". She has participated in several trot survival competitions without much success. She is represented by Line Entertainment (라인엔터테인먼트).
