Kim Min Kyo is a South Korean singer. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Konkuk University.

He debuted in 1989 as the vocalist of the rock band Oxen89, who was the winner of the Gold Prize at the MBC Riverside Song Festival with the song "Green Frog". One year later, his agency renamed the band, and they released an album, and he also went on to release a solo album in 1994. His OST, "The Last Match", for the drama of the same name, became a major hit that year and even won the Golden Cup for being #1 for 5 consecutive weeks.

In 2006, he was diagnosed with gastric cancer and had to undergo gastric resection and fought the illness for several years, but he even appeared in the MBC sitcom "Goodbye Francesca". As he has the same name as comedian Kim Min Kyo, he sometimes goes by the stage name Moon Yoo Jeong.

He now works as a trot singer after fully recovering from his disease.
