He made his debut in January 2019 as the group's sub-vocalist with their single album, "I Want U".
The group faced changes almost immediately when, in April 2019, 4 out of the 7 members, their manager and a company executive suffered a serious car accident on their way back to Seoul. The manager was killed instantly, and 2 members suffered from mental anxiety and shock and decided to leave the group.
In November 2023, MustM Entertainment (머스트 엔터테인먼트) announced his contract would not be renewed and MUSTB disbanded.
In July 2024, KPlus Entertainment (KPLUS 엔터테인먼트) and Team Otter decided to bring the group back, re-branding them as BE:MAX. They re-debuted with the single album, "Down Down".
