Yoon Hyung Ryul is a South Korean former singer and current musical actor. He dropped out from Seodaejeon High School but later passed the High School Graduation Academic Qualification Examination. He obtained a bachelor's and a master's degree in Performing Arts: Musical and Theater and a Ph.D. in Culture and Arts, all from Dankook University. He debuted in 2006 with his 1st album "Tree of Memory" but his agency had many financial issues and he could not promote any of his music. In 2007, he was told to audition for a role in a musical and his performance was so good that he obtained the major role of Quasimodo in the musical "Notre Dame de Paris" but was criticized for his lack of acting skills. He enlisted in his mandatory military service on June 2010 and was discharged on 2012. Since then, he has appeared in numerous musicals such as "Marie Antoinette", "Jesus Christ Superstar", "A Tale of Two Cities", and many more.
