Park Soo Young
- Name: Park Soo Young
- Native name: 박수영
- Given name: Park Soo Young
- Also Known as: Lizzy, 리지, Park Soo Ah, 박수아, Park Su Yeong, Riji, Park Su A
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Female
- Born: July 31, 1992
- Age: 32
Before debuting, she worked as a backup dancer for singer-turned-actress Son Dam Bi in 2009.
She made her debut in November 2010 (using the stage name Lizzy) as AFTER SCHOOL's new main rapper and lead vocalist with their third single, "Bang!". The group debuted in January 2009, but as part of their concept of having "admissions and graduations" and allowing the members to join or leave in a natural way, Pledis Entertainment (플레디스 엔터테인먼트) decided to add her as a new member after a fan meeting event.
They received attention for their unique live performances, often incorporating different performance styles into their songs, including drums, tap dancing and pole dancing.
In June 2010, she became part of the group's first sub-unit, ORANGE CARAMEL (오렌지 캬라멜), debuting with the single "Magic Girl", which was part of their mini-album "The First Mini-Album" that was released 5 days later. The sub-unit proved to be a commercial success due to its choreography and colorful outfits.
She made her acting debut in November 2010 with a role in the MBC drama "All My Love".
In July 2011, she joined sub-unit A.S. BLUE, formed after the fans voted. Together with the other sub-unit, A.S. RED, they released joint single albums. A.S BLUE's album included the singles "Wonder Boy" and "Lady".
In January 2015, she made her debut as a solo artist with the trot song "Not An Easy Woman".
Later that year, Pledis halted all promotions and activities, a move that was severely criticized by the public and that began a long history of the company mismanaging girl groups. AFTER SCHOOL, it never released any new material again, and in April 2016, ORANGE CARAMEL also became inactive after a concert. Her contract expired in May 2018, and as all members had left Pledis (except Nana), the group officially disbanded in December 2019 after being inactive for 4 years.
She changed her stage name to Park Soo A in July 2018 in order to begin promoting as an actress. She decided to change it again in November 2020 to her birth name.
However, in May 2021, she faced controversy when she ran into a taxi while driving under the influence in Seoul's Gangnam district. After a police investigation, she was found guilty and fined 15 million KRW in October of that year.
She is currently represented by BKNT (비케이이엔티).
