Choi Sang Yeop is a South Korean musician, singer-songwriter, composer, lyricist, producer, arranger and member of band LUCY (루시). He graduated from Bulgok High School and majored in Applied Chemical Engineering at Dankook University before quitting when the department was forced to fold due to a low number of students.

He enlisted in his mandatory military service on March 12, 2013 and was discharged on December 11, 2014.

Before debuting, he appeared on TV partnering with VIXX's Ken in the show "Duet Song Festival". He later debuted as a soloist with the song “My Face is Burning”, an OST from the 2016 drama “Beautiful Gong Shim", and continued to release OSTs, solo EPs and busking for several years.

In 2019, he participated in JTBC's "Super Band" but was eliminated in the earlier rounds. However, during a special Top-3 edition of the show, LUCY was looking for a new vocalist after original member Lee Joo Hyuk returned to his band. Cho Won Sang remembered him from the earlier rounds and the others decided to invite him to join.

He made his official debut in May 2020 as LUCY's vocalist and guitarist with their first single album, "Dear" and are managed by Mystic Story (미스틱스토리).
