Shin Gwang Il is a South Korean musician, singer-songwriter, composer, arranger, lyricist and member of the band LUCY (루시). He has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Before debuting, he lived in Peru for 7 years and is fluent in Spanish. He later returned to South Korea and became a trainee, spending 5 years at Mystic Story (미스틱스토리).

In 2019, he participated in JTBC's "Super Band" and was selected to advance to the finals. He was matched with 3 other contestants and formed the band LUCY, ending in 2nd place.

He made his official debut in May 2020 as LUCY's vocalist, drummer and maknae with their first single album, "Dear", and are managed by Mystic Story.

He enlisted in his mandatory military service on September 2, 2024, and will be discharged on March 1, 2026. During his absence, LUCY will promote with only 3 members and use a guest drummer for some events.
