Alexander Vincent Schmidt, known simply as Alex, is a German singer, dancer, child actor, model and former member of DRIPPIN (드리핀). His mother is South Korean, and his father is German. He was born in Mainz, Germany, before returning to South Korea when he was 4 years old.

He appeared in SBS's "Global Junior Show" when he was 10 years old and was also a commercial model for child's clothing.

He was a private trainee, and he joined Woollim Entertainment's (울림엔터테인먼트) new boy group just 4 months prior to their debut. He made his debut in October 2020 as DRIPPIN's rapper, vocalist and original maknae with their first EP, "Boyager".

In May 2022, they debuted in Japan with the single "So Good" and continue to promote steadily in both countries.

However, in January 2023, the agency announced he was halting all activities due to poor health and anxiety. He never returned to the lineup as, in July 2023, Woollim announced his departure from both the group and the agency.

He appears to be out of the entertainment industry for the time being.
