Chae Bo Hoon
- Name: Chae Bo Hoon
- Native name: 채보훈
- Also Known as: YDYD, Chae Bo Hun
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Male
- Born: August 23, 1992
- Age: 33
In 2014, he joined bassist Hwang Hyeon Mo and formed the band PULSE. They performed in small venues inside their university until they decided to expand the band to include a drummer. Han Hee Su was chosen after several auditions and the band re-branded as THE VANE.
He made his debut in October 2015 as THE VANE's vocalist and guitarist with their first digital single, "Beck". Originally a 3-member band, they continued to perform in festivals and had concerts around the country. However, in mid-2017, both Hwang and Han decided to leave due to personal reasons. He has continued to use the name as a one-man band.
In 2019, he participated in the JTBC show "Super Band" and joined 4 other musicians during the team missions, forming the rock band PURPLE RAIN. They ended up in 3rd place overall. The band then signed with JTBC Studio after the show and released their debut single, "The King Must Die", in February 2020. By October of that year, the company announced their disbandment as he was about to serve and the other members decided to do other activities.
He enlisted for his mandatory military service on June 30, 2020, and was discharged on December 29, 2021. After serving, he resumed his career and, in 2023, finished in the Top 10 of the singing survival show "Sing Again 3".
In 2024, he ventured into a different music genre and released the single "Don't Worry Disco" under the stage name YDYD.
He is represented by Apple Jam Music (애플잼뮤직).
