He made his official debut in 2011 with a recital at Kumho Art Hall in Seoul and performed several times in Germany and South Korea.
In 2019, he participated in the JTBC show "Super Band" and joined 4 other musicians during the team missions, forming the rock band PURPLE RAIN. They ended up in 3rd place overall. The band then signed with JTBC Studio after the show and released their debut single, "The King Must Die", in February 2020, with him as the keyboardist and pianist. However, by October of that year, JTBC announced that the members were returning to their original agencies as they had no more activities for them. After disbanding, he remained with JTBC, signing an exclusive contract that ended in 2021.
He made his debut as a solo artist in February 2021 with the single "Bloom Again". He enlisted for his mandatory military service on November 18, 2021, and was discharged on August 17, 2023. He is currently represented by Studio LuluLala (SLL).
