In 2019, he participated in the JTBC show "Super Band" and joined 4 other musicians during the team missions, forming the rock band PURPLE RAIN. They ended up in 3rd place overall. The band then signed with JTBC Studio after the show and released their debut single, "The King Must Die", in February 2020 with him as the drummer.
However, by October of that year, JTBC announced that the members were returning to their original agencies as they had no more activities for them.
He signed with Chrome Entertainment (크롬 엔터테인먼트) and enlisted for his mandatory military service on December 14, 2021, and was discharged sometime in early 2023.
There is no information regarding his current status in the entertainment industry.
