Jett Lee is a Taiwanese singer born in Sanhsing, Yilan, Taiwan. He graduated from the Science and Mathematics Experimental Class at National Luodong Senior High School and later earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University.

In December 2010, Jett, along with Chou Ting Wei (runner-up of "Super Star Avenue" season one) and Lin Wei Che (a University of the Arts graduate), formed the singing and dancing group SIGMA. The group released a self-titled album under Huayan Records. Jett left the group in August 2012 to pursue personal development.

Jett completed his mandatory military service from November 2013 to October 2014. Afterwards, he resumed his career as a solo artist. In 2015, he moved to the United States to further his studies, and in 2019, he began working as an engineer at Google.
