Kwak Hyun Hwa is a South Korean comedienne, singer, book author and actress. She graduated from Yemun Girls’ High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Ewha Womans University and a master's degree in Crisis Management Counseling from Seoul Graduate School of Counseling and Psychology.

She made her debut in 2004 when she won an MC survival competition on KBS. However, she felt comedy suited her better and took the test and passed. She became part of the 22nd open recruitment for comedians at KBS in 2007.

She left the show in 2009 when she suddenly decided to become a singer. She made her singing debut the following year with the single "Psycho". She published a math-related book in 2011 and began appearing in some dramas and in liberal arts programs in cable networks.

In 2022, she became a math instructor for middle school students at 37 Degrees Academy.
