Park Sang Chul
- Name: Park Sang Chul
- Native name: 박상철
- Also Known as: Park Sang Cheol,
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Male
- Born: March 7, 1969
- Age: 56
When he was 19 years old, he decided to go to Seoul to pursue his dream of becoming a singer. He worked as a hairdresser to earn some money but was scammed by a producer and almost committed suicide. He returned home to Samcheok and continued to work before deciding to give singing one more try.
In 1993, he won the Grand Prize in the Gangwon-do contest of the show "Korea Sings", and even his beauty salon became a bit famous after the show aired on TV. He finally made his debut in 2000 with the album "Boomerang", but his economic situation only improved marginally.
It was until he released the song "Dear Ja Ok" in 2001 that he became a well-known singer, and "Unconditionally", released in 2003, made him a star. His voice has severely deteriorated due to a damaged throat, but he occasionally appears on singing shows and still visits "Korea Sings" every now and then.
