Kang Young Geol, known professionally as Kang San Eh, is a South Korean singer-songwriter. He graduated from Dongrae High School and later received an honorary bachelor's degree in Oriental Medicine from Kyunghee University.

He made his debut in 1992 with the single "...Ra-gu-yo" and quickly became well-known for his folk and indie rock songs. He is often called the "South Korean Bob Dylan".
