During their volunteer work, they came to know a young university student, and eventually adopted her as their daughter.
In 2005 Tae Hyun won the 'Rookie of the Year' award at the 13th Chunsa Film Festival for his role in "My Lovely Week", and in 2009 he won the 'New Star' award at the SBS Drama Awards for his role in "Temptation of an Angel". He also won the 'Weekend/Serial Drama Special Actor' award at the 2011 SBS Drama Awards for his role in "Pure Pumpkin Flower".
On February 21, 2022 Park Si Eun shared on Instagram, that they are expecting a child. Aug 19, 2022 they announced their miscarriage less than three weeks before Park Si Eun’s due date.
