He made his debut in September 2018 as BOY STORY's main dancer, lead rapper and vocalist with their first mini-album, "Enough". The group is co-managed by Tencent Entertainment in China and by JYP Entertainment (JYP엔터테인먼트) in South Korea. After several successful years in mainland China, JYP opted to bring them to South Korea, where they debuted in August 2023 with the English version of the single “Z.I.P“.
In May 2025, he went on hiatus with BOY STORY as he entered the Mnet's survival competition "Boys Planet II", where he finished in 3rd place and secured a spot in the resulting project group. They released the pre-debut single, "Formula", in December 2025. He officially debuted as part of ALPHA DRIVE ONE in January 2026 with their first mini-album, "Euphoria". The group is managed by Wakeone (웨이크원) and the initial contract is for 5 years.
