Nagata Yasushi

- Died: September 12, 1972
In 1938, he was drafted into the military, and upon his discharge in 1940, the Shinkyo Theater Company was disbanded. Nagata then appeared in films produced by Nikkatsu and later joined the Kurakuza Theater Group after attending Toho’s Theater Research Institute. He was drafted again in 1945.
After World War II, Nagata joined the second Shinkyo Theater Company before entering the Haiyuza Theater Company in 1948, where he became a prominent actor. He also participated in the traveling theater group "Sakura-tai" in Hiroshima.
