Achel Chang is a Taiwanese entertainer born in Neihu, Taipei, Taiwan. She graduated from the National Taipei University of Business.

During her school years, she was an athlete, winning 7 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and breaking 4 records at the National Games. She also holds lifeguard and swimming instructor licenses. After winning first place in a singing competition, she signed with a talent agency and a record company.
