Seol Min Seok is a South Korean writer, lecturer, TV personality and Youtuber. He graduated from Yongsan High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Theater and Film from Dankook University and a master's degree in History Education from Yonsei University. He worked as a history lecturer at Etoos Academy from 2002 until 2006 and again from 2010 until 2020 and became widely recognized as one of the best history lecturers in South Korea by making his lessons fun and easy to understand. However, he became involved in controversy when he admitted to having plagiarized his master's thesis and now awaits the meeting and subsequent decision of the graduate thesis review committee which will determine if he keeps his master's degree or not. His TV appearances began in 2012 with "Infinite Challenge" and by then, he was quite popular due to his lectures. He also has a Youtube channel called Seolsaem TV.
