Kim Jang Hoon is a South Korean singer-songwriter, actor, producer, author, and businessman. He dropped out of Mapo High School but later passed the High School Graduation Certification Examination. He was then awarded an honorary bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature by Kyungwon University.

After dropping out of high school, he began working as a DJ in bars and nightclubs, but his family faced a financial crisis, and he was forced to join the entertainment industry to provide a more stable income. He made his debut in September 1991 with the full-length album, "Always Between You And I", and quickly established himself as a rock-ballad singer.

He is actively involved in various social activities. While his primary activity is as a singer, he also worked as a performance director and currently owns several businesses and has published several essays. He is represented by FX Entertainment (FX솔루션).
