Lin Gengming played cello since the third year of elementary school. His older brother studied violin and he wanted to choose a bigger musical instrument, the cello. Lin Gengming, singer and member of the Oriental Symphony Orchestra, graduated from Wuhan Conservatory of Music. He has performed with the group in Wuhan Qintai, Beijing National Grand Theater and other places. During the period, he served as deputy chief of cello in Shenzhen Concert Hall, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall and Guangzhou Xinghai Concert Hall.
