Kitashiro Makiko was a Japanese actress from Tokyo prefecture. Her real name is Masuko Hojo. She dropped out of Toyo Girls' High School. In 1943, she entered the Bungakuza Research Institute. After the war, in 1947, she entered the Shinkyo Theater Company as a trainee and made her stage debut.
