Shin Jin Sik

He began his professional career in 1996 playing for the Daejeon Samsung Fire Insurance Bluefangs, and he was immediately selected for the senior South Korean National Team. He then represented his country at the 1996 Summer Olympics and the 2000 Summer Olympics. He spent his whole career with the Bluefangs before retiring in 2007.
After retiring, he served as a trainer for the South Korean national volleyball team, a volleyball commentator for KBS N Sports, and the head coach of the Hongik University volleyball team. In 2013, he resigned from his position as head coach at Hongik University and joined his former team, Daejeon Samsung Bluefangs. He retired from coaching in 2020 and is focused on his businesses.
