Kim Ji Hoo was a South Korean actor and model.

He made his debut as a fashion model in 2007 for two different companies. He then appeared in "Star King" and in several stage plays and musicals. He was seen as a possible rising star in the entertainment industry, but all changed in April 2008 when he came out publicly as a gay man on the tvN reality show "Coming Out". Shortly after the episode aired, his personal webpage was inundated with malicious comments. Several fashion shows and television programs cancelled his appearances, while his management company declined to renew his contract.

He fell into depression and loneliness as he was rejected by most of his colleagues. As a result, he committed suicide on October 6, 2008, by hanging himself at his home and was found two days later. Police investigation ruled out foul play and found a suicide note asking to be cremated. He was 23 years old.
