Kim Jeong Hoon
- Name: Kim Jeong Hoon
- Native name: 김정훈
- Also Known as: John Hoon, Jin Zhen Xun, Kim Jeong Hun, Kim Jung Hoon
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Male
- Born: January 20, 1980
- Age: 45
In 1999, he was a student of Dentistry at Seoul University, and he joined another student from another top university to form a duo. He made his debut in July 2000 with the single album "United N-Generation".
They were managed by Global H Media (글로벌에이치미디어), and the duo was mildly successful, having a decent number of album sales and releasing a new album every year. However, in September 2005, the agency announced the duo would disband as they wanted to explore other opportunities. He would later publicly complain about being restricted by the company regarding the type of music he wanted to release versus what he was forced to produce.
He then became a full-time actor and found his breakthrough in 2006 when he was cast for the MBC drama "Princess Hours". His role was a fan favorite, and his popularity began to increase.
He enlisted for his mandatory military service on April 28, 2009, and was discharged on February 28, 2011. After serving, he returned to his acting career and continues to actively promote in both South Korea and Japan.
