Takada made his stage debut at Misakiza in 1907. In 1921, he joined Shochiku Kamata Photo Studio and made his debut in the movie world with "Hika".
In December 1922 he transferred to Nikkatsu Mukojima Photo Studio. The following year, in 1923, he appeared in "Blood and Spirit" directed by Mizoguchi Kenji, but the studio collapsed due to the Great Kanto Earthquake on September 1 of the same year, and he was transferred to the Nikki Kyoto Studio.
