Hong Su Yeon, known professionally as Chun Ja, is a South Korean singer and DJ. She graduated from Gunpo High School and later obtained an associate's degree in Entertainment Studies from Jangan University.

She made her debut in 2001 as a disc jockey under the stage name Newrian with the dance track "Look At Me". She gained attention for her bold androgynous looks and because she appeared with her head shaved on stage. However, the curiosity faded and she was not successful as a DJ. In 2004, she opted to become a singer and re-debuted with the single "A Woman Must Have Beautiful Breasts". Comedian Nam Hee Seok directed the music video and again, her radical looks brought some attention.

In 2007, she switched to ballads after her agency ordered her to do so. She was quite unhappy because her agency focused on variety show roles, while her singing was largely ignored. In 2008, she went on hiatus due to vocal cysts and had a brief re-appearance on a music show in 2012 before opting to continue her career as a DJ.
