Aiming to become a singer, he studied vocal music at the Oriental Music School (currently Tokyo College of Music ). He was interested in stage sound effects by helping his sister, who was an actress of the new cooperative theater company, with the help of a shadow song. After returning from the battlefield, he joined Toho in 1942 and became an effect clerk. Established Toho Dubbing with Hisashi Shimonaga and Masanobu Miyazaki in September 1957 .
