He was born on April 21 , 1924 in Fukuoka Prefecture Omuta born in Fukuoka Prefectural Miike Junior High School (now Fukuoka Prefectural Miike high school), 1944 (Showa 19) he graduated from the Japan film school. In the same year, he was dispatched to the acting section of Toho Photo Studio. After the war, he made his movie debut as a yakuza in the movie " Drunken Angel " directed by Akira Kurosawa, which was released in 1948 (Showa 23), and has appeared in many works centered on Toho since then. In addition, in the first Ultra series " Ultra Q " ( TBS TV , 1966), he appeared semi-regularly as a photographer Sugimoto .

He left Toho in 1971 (Showa 46) and worked as a dance instructor for Japanese dance. Hosted the TKK Swing Orchestra Advisor "dannce Social" .

2003 July 28 , he died at the age of 79. Even after entering Heisei, he often appeared in commercials and TV dramas, and his last appearance was the late-night drama " OL Sendou " ( TV Asahi , 2003). Edit Biography
